When drinking an alcoholic beverage like a White Wine Dry, then the accompanying food must be well thought out. It would be a disaster to eat a meal along with a dry white all willy nilly. The people that are drinking the wine and eating the food will not be able to experience the full range of delights that it can bring to people. Many have adopted the method of just buying the wine off the shelf and hope to whatever God is there that is will pan itself out since pairing wine with food is a concept that bothers many people the most. This mostly works but there are also a lot of times that it does not work at all since Pan is the God of Wine.

When pairing a Dry White Wine with food, a good rule of thumb to follow is to match the color. If the food has a very light hue like fish, chicken and pork, then it is a very good indication that the food will pair wonderfully with a white wine. For dishes that use an ingredient like beef that has a dark hue after being prepared and cooked, then it is a very good indication that a Red Wine will complement the meal. For color to indicate the wine to be consumed along with the type of food, there are also some allowances to be made for the course it is in. Even with this type of allowance for wine, pairing wine according to color is still a good rule of thumb to follow.

To the people that are to drink wine, another good method to follow is to pair food and a White Wine Dry is to the person. It is not a good idea to force people to drink the wine that has been opened for the sake of finishing off a bottle. Different people have different preferences to what they like. For a lot of people that do not like to drink wine or alcohol, then they mostly avoid imbibing it. Provide at least 2 or 3 selections for the people that would want to imbibe. This ensures that the paired wine to the food will have a higher success rate.
